♥Dear Saint-Germain, I’ve always been very perceptive of the feelings of others. When I was a little girl, if I saw another child being treated unkindly, I would find that person another playmate right away. My concern for others has carried over into my adult  life. I find that I cannot be truly happy, unless I see that everyone is cared for and feeling good about themselves. Yet, I am afraid of the responsibility. How can I use this sensitivity to help others, without being overwhelmed by the challenges? Thank you.♥
My good friend, I AM Saint-Germain. Your Soul’s purpose for you in this lifetime is to use your sensitivity and strength of character to help others. But because this is your purpose, you may experience equally powerful insecurities that seem to hold you back and keep you from feeling effective.
For example, part of you may want to step forward and help others who are feeling bad about themselves or disadvantaged in some way; while another part of you may prefer to hold back, fearing how others will judge or perceive you if you intervene. Until you have reconciled this hidden conflict about assuming your personal power and authority in spite of real or perceived opposition, you may find that you undermine your efforts by acting in ways that don’t always reflect your true intentions.Â
Dear friend, when you are feeling aligned with a sense of Soul Purpose in your life, then you will find that you enjoy empowering others and sharing your time, energies, and resources abundantly with them. Giving and receiving will feel easy and joyful to you, and using your creativity to help others solve their problems will be especially rewarding. Helping others from a position of leadership and authority will feel good, as will collaborating with them as equals. You will discover that your activities bring you material and financial success as you work to build a better world for others.Â
But when you’re feeling out-of-alignment with a sense of Soul purpose, then issues with authority might start to manifest for you in a number of different ways. For example, when you’re feeling stressed, you might have a tendency to surpass your authority by trying to outmaneuver or manipulate others in order to get ahead or advance your own agenda. On the other hand, if asserting yourself is challenging or frightening to you, then you might undermine your own authority or sabotage your best intentions as a way to escape the dilemma.
Acting with Authority
Yes, I know that you have wondered about the importance of acting with authority in your life in the past. But now you are facing the issue rather directly. Can you be a leader? Can you act with authority before others? Do you have the strength of character, the presence of mind, and the courage of heart to do it?
Right now, it’s hard for you to feel that you can be in charge of others – that you can be a leader. I know that there is much doubt in your mind about how you will be perceived.Â
I know that the way that others perceive you has always been very important to you, and that you have always had insecurities about this.Â
Your need for approval and your fear of rejection has shadowed you much of your life –just as your desire to help others has also been a constant companion. There is a lot of fear, pain and guilt around this, and it’s keeping you from taking up the leadership position that you desire.
What you have to do is this:Â
Don’t let your past – with its old fears and insecurities, dictate your current response.
Instead, give yourself permission to take on greater responsibility and authority in your life, and then be willing to exercise it in a way that benefits others, too.Â
Allowing Your Personal Power To Flow
You have to understand the gift that you’ve been given in this lifetime. You have to understand the privilege and responsibility of personal power. You are gifted with a profound understanding of the nature of human suffering, and confronting this is overwhelming you right now. Yet, if you can acknowledge your fears and just walk beyond them a small distance, you will find that you are able to take a responsible approach to helping others that does not overpower you – but rather, empowers those you are here to assist.Â
To do this, you will need to let go of your old feelings of anger and helplessness, as you witnessed the pain and suffering of others and yet felt disempowered to do anything about it.Â
Allow your personal power to flow, instead.Â
It’s time to let your power and authority flow – instead of dwelling on the challenges. This will free you to assist others in manifesting a better life for themselves.Â
It’s important that you acknowledge your genuine desire to be a leader, communicator and facilitator in this. You are a humanitarian. And this is the core of your intentions and actions in the world, although you may not always see it.Â
Just be aware of your tendency to fear that you will displease others. Be aware of this, as you step forward and take charge. Know that you can choose differently now. You can lead, teach and assist others now. Yes, you can.Â
Your presence on the Earth truly matters at this critical time.Â
When you are willing to orient your life around this and let it make a powerful statement, then the whole Universe will support you in this. Believe it, and it shall be so.Â
Indeed I am Saint-Germain.
