God is always bringing us closer to Him.
God said:
How deep in My heart are you, and how deep in your heart am I. I am the deepest of the deep, and, beloved, you are too. Unbeknownst to you, you are high, and you are deep. If only you would accept this. If you would accept this, you would live a life beyond that which you have thought possible. Accept and make possible all that which you have, by default, turned away.
I hear you protest this. You say: “God, well, look at my life. Look at what it has been. Look what it is now. My life is not what I expected it to be.”
I say to you: “Beloveds, that was then. This is now.” And I go into a song and dance about letting go of the past. The past isn’t yours. You don’t own it. It doesn’t belong to you. It’s not of use to you. The past is back in memory, and no longer are you to go back.
If even a minute ago, life was disappointing, it doesn’t have to be so this moment. The life before you right now can come from a higher plane. No longer are you to flatten your life down and keep it there. Imagine your life rising. Imagine your life lifting itself up. Imagine your joy. Enjoy, but no longer be surprised. No longer be surprised at the blessings that you were meant to have and to give.
Give yourself a chance, and you will manifest all the beauty and goodness you desire.
When you stick to the past, you block the present. This must be so. You hardly give the present a chance. You say you’re not good enough or smart enough, and that life isn’t so easy as that. I am telling you precisely that life is as easy as that. What you have to do is to keep moving forward and keep looking up.
If this thought is new to you, then it’s time for you to try something new. If you met someone today who had just arrived full-grown on Earth, what would you say to him? Would you tell him that the high road is not for him and will only disappoint him and that he had better take the low road?
You are that new person who arrived today on Earth, and you absolutely must tell yourself new stories because the old ones are stale.
I am telling you with all My heart to write new stories, develop them, arise to them. Give the new stories a chance. When the old stories worked so well, what makes you so sure that the new ones won’t work?
I am urging you to raise the bar. Just raise it. What has been accomplished in this world that someone didn’t try? Athletes have broken records. Why wouldn’t you break records in your life? Picture it, feel it, love it, think it, have it.
Oh, you may say that this and that hold you back. I say, “You are holding yourself back. Keep your dreams and desires ahead of you. Don’t drop them. Don’t let them go by the wayside. Get your vision back, and let your vision work for you.”
The same old thing is not going to inspire you. The same old thinking is not going to inspire you. Inspire yourself and those around you. Inspire.
You have held yourself enslaved to an old pattern of life. The bells are ringing now. Time for life, time for your life, to reach the top of the tree. Time for you to rise. You can fit into a new framework. If the Earth can turn on its axis, what can’t you do? You can stop on a dime, and you can change the direction of your life and so become a great blessing on Earth. What are you waiting for?
